Ingredients
- 100 g butter
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 80 g egg yolks
- 30 g water
- 340 g low-protein flour (cake flour)
- Dark brown food coloring, as needed
- Light brown food coloring, as needed
- Innova Paste Hazelnut, as needed
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
- Divide the dough evenly into two portions.
- Add dark brown food coloring to the first portion and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
- Add light brown food coloring to the second portion and mix until evenly combined.
- Roll out each dough and cut using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
- Stack or combine the two colored doughs, then gently roll them together until they are well combined.
- Cut the dough again using a larger heart-shaped cookie cutter.
- Arrange on a baking tray and bake until fully cooked.
- Once the cookies have cooled, spread Innova Hazelnut Paste in the center and sandwich with another cookie.
- Love Hazelnut Sandwich Cookies are ready to serve.
