Ingredients:
- ½ lembar Unclely Puff Pastry
- 12 pcs Sausage
- Cheddar cheese as needed
Egg Wash:
- Egg yolk
Topping:
- Oregano
Instructions
- Prepare the Puff Pastry
- If the puff pastry is frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it rest for 10–15 minutes until soft and easy to cut.
- Place the puff pastry on a flat surface lightly dusted with flour.
- Cut and Fill
- Cut the puff pastry into 12 small pieces (rectangular shapes adjusted to the size of the cocktail sausages).
- Place 1 sausage on each piece of puff pastry.
- Add cheddar cheese to taste on top of or beside the sausage.
- Roll
- Roll the puff pastry tightly to wrap the sausage and cheese.
- Make sure the seam is placed underneath to prevent it from opening during baking.
- Egg Wash & Topping
- Arrange the rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Brush the surface with egg yolk to give a shiny, golden finish after baking.
- Sprinkle oregano evenly on top for added aroma and flavor.
- Bake
- Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) using top and bottom heat for 20–25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is fully risen and golden brown.
- Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm so the cheese stays melted and the puff pastry remains crispy.
