Ingredients
Dough Ingredients:
- 4 Eggs
- 200 g Black Glutinous Rice Flour
- 100 g Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Innova Cake Emulsifier
- 2 g Vanilla Essence
- 2 g Salt
- 65 g Thick Coconut Milk
- 100 ml Cooking Oil
Filling:
Croner Filling Vla rasa keju secukupnya
Instructions
Preparation:
- Prepare the steamer and bring the water to a boil. Wrap the lid with a clean kitchen cloth to prevent condensation from dripping onto the cake.
- Grease the cake pan with oil or margarine to prevent sticking.
Whip the Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, cake emulsifier, and salt.
- Beat with a mixer on high speed for 7–10 minutes, until the mixture becomes thick, pale, and fluffy.
Add the Flour:
- Sift the black glutinous rice flour, then gradually fold it into the batter using a spatula.
- Mix gently until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Add the Liquid Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut milk and cooking oil, then add vanilla essence.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the batter, folding slowly until fully combined and no oil remains separated.
Pour and Fill:
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Add Croner Filling Vla Rasa Keju in the center (avoid the edges of the pan).
- Pour the remaining batter on top and smooth the surface.
Steam the Cake:
- Place the pan into the preheated steamer.
- Steam over medium heat for about 40 minutes. Do not open the lid during the first 30 minutes to prevent the cake from deflating.
- Check doneness using a toothpick — it should come out clean.
Finishing Touch:
- Remove the cake from the steamer and allow it to cool completely.
- Slice and serve. The center will be soft, moist, and creamy, with a rich cheese custard layer that melts in your mouth.
