Ingredients
Cake Ingredients:
- Butter 125 g
- Innova Sugar Powder 65 g
- Salt 3 g
- Whole eggs 4 pcs
- Medium-protein flour 110 g
- Cornstarch 5 g
- Milk powder 10 g
- Baking powder 3 g
- Granulated sugar 65 g
Crumble Ingredients:
- Butter 50 g
- Granulated sugar 25 g
- Salt 1 g
- Medium-protein flour 180 g
- Whole wheat flour 20 g
Fillings:
- Innova Paste Chocolate as needed
Instructions
1. Making the Crumble:
- Combine all crumble ingredients.
- Mix using your hands until it forms a crumbly texture.
- Set aside.
2. Making the Cake Batter:
- Beat the butter and icing sugar until light, pale, and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift together the dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, milk powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients into the batter and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
- Add the granulated sugar and mix until well incorporated.
- Divide the batter into 2 portions:
- Leave one plain
- Add cocoa powder to the other, then mix well
3. Assembly (Layering):
- Prepare a baking pan and grease it with margarine.
- Spread the crumble evenly on the bottom of the pan.
- Pour in ½ of the cake batter, then smooth the surface.
- Add Innova chocolate paste as filling in the center (zig-zag or lines).
- Cover with the remaining batter.
- Create a light marble effect on top using a skewer or toothpick.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170–180°C for ±40–50 minutes.
- Chocolate Marble Cake is ready to serve. Enjoy!
