Simple Syrup:

- 150 g hot water
Garnish:

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 165°C. Line the bottoms of two pans with baking paper without greasing the sides.
- Beat the eggs, egg yolks, cake emulsifier, sugar, and vanilla extract on high speed until stiff and ribbon stage is reached.
- Reduce the mixer speed and add the sifted flour, milk powder, cornstarch, and baking powder. Mix until combined.
- Gradually add the melted butter once it has cooled slightly. Fold gently until evenly incorporated.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two pans. Tap the pans gently to release air bubbles. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until fully baked.
- Cool the sponges on a cooling rack. Once completely cool, trim off the browned top crust and slice each sponge horizontally in half to make 4 layers.
- To make the frosting, beat the butter blend, Croner Peanut Butter, sifted Innova Icing Sugar, and sweetened condensed milk with a balloon whisk for approximately 5 minutes until smooth. Switch to a paddle attachment and beat for another 7 minutes to reduce air bubbles.
- To make the simple syrup, stir the sugar into the hot water until dissolved. Let it cool before use.
- Place the first sponge layer on a cake board and brush with simple syrup. Spread with peanut butter frosting and Croner Strawberry Jam. Repeat with the remaining layers.
- Apply a crumb coat of peanut butter frosting and freeze for 15 minutes.
- Apply the final frosting layer and coat the sides with toasted Innova Chopped Peanuts. Decorate the top with the remaining frosting and fresh strawberries.
